Dedé Wolff

(Odette Maria Wolff, 1923-? ), is a painter who studied with Argentine surrealist Vicente Forte. Dedé and Astor were married and had two children, Diana and Daniel. In 1954 they traveled to Paris on a Fabian Sevitsky prize and scholarship award from the French government where, the painter completed her studies under the tutelage of the celebrated cubist Andre Lohte. Dedé Wolff's intimate treatment of Piazzolla as her primary subject matter continued throughout her life as a testament to the mark left on her, by this relationship, which was just as profound as her own influence on the musical genius that created Nuevo Tango.
