Masters of Bandoneon - winner of  2 Latin GRAMMY-Award nominations as Best Tango Album and Best Contemporary Classical Composition (2012), is a historic project and the largest production of its kind, showcasing the principle characters who are projecting Piazzolla's legacy to the future.   

The ensemble’s second CD – it is dedicated to the memory and legacy of Astor Piazzolla and features compositions by Piazzolla and his contemporaries, as well as several pieces by post-Piazzolla artists. Guest artists include Leopoldo Federico, Nestor Marconi, Lisandro Adrover, Marcelo Nisinman, Beatriz Suarez Paz, Carlos Franzetti and others, as well as recitation by Piazzolla’s longtime collaborator and lyricist Horacio Ferrer. Cuartetango brings to this CD the continuation of the real and present art of Argentine Tango, with a modern approach that stems directly from traditional styles.
