Formed in Argentina, in 1963 by Fernando Suarez Paz, renowned violinist of Astor Piazzolla who has worked with Yo-Yo Ma, Gary Burton, Kronos Quartet and the Orquesta Filarmonica de Buenos Aires and known for his “delicious clarity and passion” - New York Times, the company expanded operations to New York City in 2000 under the direction of Leonardo Suarez Paz (Orchestra Estable of Teatro Colon, Julio Bocca’s Ballet Argentino, Savion Glover, Placido Domingo, New York City Opera, Greenwich Symphony Orchestra, Cuartetango string quartet) who was named “virtuoso extraordinaire” by Wynton Marsalis (Jazz at Lincoln Center).
